This Week

 THIS is what's going on in my neighborhood this week...
 I live in Augusta (no - not Maine - note the green grass)  so this week is all about...








THIS!




These are the signs on my street - my neighbors have abandoned those of us choosing to brave a week of influx of masses of people. They have rented their homes to these corporate groups to house their employees who will attend the Masters' Golf Tournament!







So because of the week of not knowing how long it will take you to get anywhere because of unusual traffic flows, long lines at the grocery store and impossible waits at restaurants I have learned in the past 4 years of living here that it is best not to plan anything too strategically and be open to all changes in timing!  My floradorning world had a big push this past weekend but is pretty quiet now.  Here is what has been accomplished:


The closeup is the center of a floradorned headband for a 15 month old to match her Easter dress.                                                               
A custom creation for someone who's favorite color is yellow has a vintage Czech moonglow button from the 1950's.

    What - no golf balls in the flowers above????     Heather, i have to say that i absolutely love the one you made me! it makes me feel so special to have a one of a kind! i love that you put what type of button it is. it gives it such a personal touch! I can't say thank you enough! everyone needs to get one!
